Travel has been a part of my life from the very beginning—I was born in Germany while my dad served in the U.S. Army. As a toddler overseas, I got an early start exploring the world. Later, during our tween years, my siblings and I would travel on our own every summer to visit our grandparents. Those childhood adventures gave us independence, confidence, and a love for the freedom of travel. 

But in my 30s, everything changed. A car accident and ongoing medical challenges brought my travels—and much of my life—to a halt. For years, I felt stuck, watching life pass by from the window. Then one day, at 50, I looked at my husband and said, “I’m not going to live my life just looking out the window anymore.” That moment sparked a major shift. We began exploring the beauty of our Florida surroundings, reclaiming joy one outing at a time. 

One of the biggest game changers was getting a mobility scooter. It gave me the freedom to fully enjoy my surroundings again—without limits. It reminded me that adventure is still possible at any stage of life, and that accessibility truly matters. 

As we rediscovered our love of travel, we also became total Disney Buffs—regularly visiting all the parks and soaking up the magic each time. From EPCOT strolls to fireworks at Magic Kingdom, Disney has become a joyful part of our story and a huge inspiration in my travel journey. 

Then, in late August 2024, I got a surprise phone call from Linda, a friend from my VA days. She asked if I’d ever thought about owning my own travel business. That one question reignited a dream I had let go of long ago—back in the '90s, my husband and I had looked into travel agent school, but it was too expensive back then. This time, I said yes. 

Even though I didn’t have a network because of years of isolation, I started by learning the computer skills I needed and dove into studying the travel industry. That determination brought me right here—living out a lifelong passion and curating unforgettable dream vacations for others, with heart, experience, and accessibility at the core of it all.
